Energy dissipation of a particle colliding on a flat surface

چکیده

To gain an understanding of the factors affecting interaction one grain with its environment as it reaches equilibrium, we study a particle bouncing off flat surface. The leads to dissipation that is usually characterized t, coefficient restitution, defined ratio between velocity component normal contact surface just before impact ( Vn ) and same component, but immediately after collision Vn’ ), i.e. related kinetic energy corresponding motion in direction. We will show how d affected by stored other degrees freedom transferred increase , therefore to, ɛ >1. For this purpose, evolution potential, translational rotational analysed during whole relaxation process each for two different types particle, disk faceted particle.
